Shift Laboratory Technician

CERAM is a dynamic, private sector group of companies providing technology solutions to an extensive range of market sectors, in the UK and worldwide. Our Testing and Environmental Services Division is a UKAS accredited provider of test results and interpretation to a wide range of industries and market sectors.

We have recently established a 2 shift team, rotating weekly, to improve our levels of customer support. This has created an exciting opportunity for a laboratory technician to develop a career in the physical and chemical testing of a wide range of industrial materials.

Applicants should preferably have a degree in Physics or Chemistry, although a lower qualification with appropriate experience will merit consideration. Of equal importance is the awareness of and interest in routine testing, the ability to solve problems, flexibility of approach and an aptitude for working in a closely-knit team.
