Process Simulation

Process modelling and computer simulation are established process development techniques. A representation of process layout, activities and resources is mapped, statistical and operational information is added, and the resulting 'process model' is used to simulate the dynamics and operational performance of the process over time.

We have developed approaches to modelling which help our customers to establish the operational performance of existing or proposed processes and to find ways to optimise flexibility, resource utilisation, throughput, lead times and costs. We have also developed approaches using graphical models to demonstrate the dynamics of integrated technology.

  • Process dynamics and performance benchmarking
  • Process re-development comparison simulation
  • Support and analysis for process investments
  • Activity-based cost management
  • Resource utilisation modelling
  • Value chain and supply chain performance.
